Mayobridge Rhys Brady Memorial U8 Tournament Sat 13-9-2014

Tullylish Under 8’s travelled to Mayobridge on Saturday to take part in the Rhys Brady Memorial U8 Tournament.

Tullylish’s first game was against Newry Shamrocks, however even with great scores from Harvey Breen, Emmet Burns and Matthew McKay the final score Tullylish 0.5 Newry Shamrocks 0-8.

Tullylish’s second game was a great display of football with great performances from Alisha and Harvey Breen. This resulted in Tullylish securing victory Tullylish 2-3 Clonduff 2-0.

Tullylish third match against Mayobridge was a hard match against strong opponents with Conor Dee scoring a lovely point on the day.

Tullylish then played Saval and performed brilliantly to get into the final of the plate.

Tullylish drew Carricknacruppen in the Final of the Plate and though tired battled well, however it was not to be Tullylish’s day and ended up Runners up on the day. Although there were many great performances Harvey Breen in Midfield was very impressive, he showed his determination and focus going around defenders and racking up an impressive tally of scores and fielding skills and deserved player of the tournament.
